Common Acne Problems
  • Many people suffer from acne, but there are
different types of acne ranging from mild to
severe. Acne can occur on different parts of the
body skin, back, and across the entire body.
From early teens into adulthood, many people
suffer from acne problems (most notably during
adolescent). Skin problems at any age can lead to
low self-esteem and a lack of sense of self.
  • One of the most severe forms of acne is cystic
acne. The severity of cystic acne problem causes
sufferers to become overly self-conscious. Often,
they search for a cure to no avail. What is used
to treat acne cyst depends on the severity of the
problem. This can mean natural at home remedies,
or more aggressive treatment such as
micro-dermabrasion for those extreme cases where
    deep tissue scarring develops.

What is Acne Cyst?
  • Acne cyst is one of the most severe forms of
acne that many people suffer from. This occurs
when oil tries to escape. An area of the skin
become puss-filled to the point of looking as if
it will pop. This form of acne is very painful to
touch, and bursting or popping it can lead to an
infection of the affected area and the areas
around, This can lead to worsening conditions
such as scarring of skin tissues. It also is
    larger than normal pimples.

Treatments of Acne Cyst
  • There are many products in the market that offer
a wide array of topical solutions for acne
sufferers but quite often, they produce
undesirable results and offer only a temporary
solution or lead to a worsening condition.
Getting rid of acne cyst may depend on finding
the right dermatologist, but can range from over
the counter remedies, to natural remedies. For
    those overly severe conditions, surgical
procedures may be recommended to erase the
evidence of scarring. Antibiotics are also
    sometimes recommended.

Forms of Treatment
  • Topical creams and remedies such as Retin-A and
Tazorac are applied directly to acne in order to
    reduce inflammation. This decreases the
    possibility of scarring or blemishes.
Dermatologists may also apply medicine by form of
an injection, curing the cyst from the inside
out. Antibiotics such as Erythromycin and
Clindamycin are recommended for severe cases of
acne cysts. They rid the cyst of the causing
factors. For example, if the cyst was caused by a
bacterium, it eliminates the bacteria over time.
Often times, the resistance to the bacteria will
lessen over time and a different antibiotic may
have to be prescribed. Acne cyst can lead to
other severe skin problems such as scarring and
blemishing. For the overly self-conscious, a
surgical procedure may be required. This includes
but may not be limited to Dermabrasion and skin
peel techniques. This helps patients to remove
damaged outer cells, in order to make way for new
cells. Additionally, some procedures may require
the use of a sunscreen to protect the new skin
from harmful UV rays from the sun.
