What is your next step?
  • As an Individual
  • Reflect on the Global Leadership Expectations and
how they apply to your leadership role.
  • Think of someone you believe is the best example
of leadership across all three leadership
elements. What specific behaviors do they
    demonstrate?
  • Complete the Self Reflection Exercise. Share
with your manager and discuss how this aligns
with your current role and the role you aspire to
an begin the development plan creation.
  • Consider your own leadership experience. How can
you develop and demonstrate those same behaviors
    in your current role?
  • Ask others for specific, honest feedback. When
have they have experienced you at your personal
best? Conversely, when have they observed
behaviors that leave room for improvement?
  • Create a teachable point of view (TPOV) about
your personal leadership brand using Global
    Leadership Expectations language. Practice it
    with others.

9
Self Reflection activity
  • Highlight the behaviors where you are currently
strong and circle those behaviors where you have
    gaps
  • Reflect on the highlighted behaviors and think of
specific times in your current role where you
    have effectively demonstrated those behaviors.
  • Now, look at the circled behaviors. How can you
better develop and demonstrate those behaviors in
    your current role?
  • Share these observations with your manager
through your next 1 on 1 or through the
development planning process in January as part
    of Q3 PDG conversations
