  • Be able to put the information in your own words

Some Note-taking ideas
  • Make lists
  • Highlight important ideas on a printed page
  • Use graphic organizers
  • Make notes on 3 x 5 cards and organize in a
    pocket chart or on a table top
  • Use lined notebook paper
  • Draw a chart and fill it in
  • Create a web
  • Use a tape recorder, then transcribe the words
    into written form
  • Use Inspiration or Kidspiration to organize your
    thoughts
