The 8 Festivals

• New Year/February 4th Ancestors, South-East, 6.
• Spring Equinox Fire, East, 1.
• Spring Mid-Point Muses, North-East, 9.
• Summer Solstice Animals, North, 4.
• Summer Mid-Point Angels, North-West, 8.
• Autumn Equinox Minerals, West, 2.
• Fall Mid-Point Nature Spirits, South-West, 7.
• Winter Solstice Trees, South, 3.

Preparation for the Invocation

• Make sure all have a copy of the Message for the
  theme of the Feast.
• Make sure all have what ever objects they may
  need for the pre-invocation actions specified by
  the message, such as a paper and pen to write
  down something to be given to the Fire.
• Optional discussion of various aspects of the
  Message to facilitate understanding.
• Carry out the Pre-Invocation preparations called
  for by the Message.
• Go to the the Fire for the Invocation, and slowly
  form a circle around it.

Begin Invocation by Asking All to Open to the
Sacred Presence of GOD

• Invite Awareness of the Infinite Universe, of
  unlimited Space Mother God.
• Invite Awareness of Eternity, of never-ending
  Time Father God.

Invite the Powers of the EAST.

• Sense the Easterly direction.
• Invite the Power of the East to be with you, the
  Power of FIRE and the Number One.
• This Power brings Revelations.
• Specifically Name and Invite all forms of Fire
  that come to mind.
• Ask Participants to name and invite other forms
  of fire, and share positive qualities of Fire,
  the East and the number One.
• Sense the First Chakra and place your key for
  that Festival there.
• Ask for Fire to give you a special message for
  that night.

Next Invite the Power of the WEST.

• Sense the Westerly direction.
• Invite the Power of the West to be with you, the
  Power of Minerals, Mountains and the Number Two.
  
• This Power brings Clarity, Affirming and
  Letting-Go.
• Specifically Name and Invite all forms of
  Minerals, Gems, Stones and Mountains that come to
  mind.
• Ask Participants to name and invite other forms
  of Minerals, and share some of the positive
  qualities of Minerals, the West and the number
  Two.
• Sense the Second Chakra and place your key for
  that Festival there.
• Ask for the Minerals to give you a special
  message for that night.

Invite the Power of the SOUTH.

• Sense the Southerly direction.
• Invite the Power of the South to be with you, the
  Power of Trees, Plants and the Number Three.
• This Power brings Trust and Innocence.
• Specifically Name and Invite all forms of Tress
  and Plants that come to mind.
• Ask Participants to name and invite other forms
  of Trees, and share some of the positive
  qualities for plants, the South and the number
  Three.
• Sense the Third Chakra and place your key for
  that Festival there.
• Ask for the Trees to give you a special message
  for that night.

Invite the Power of the NORTH.

• Sense the Northerly direction.
• Invite the Power of the North to be with you, the
  Power of the Animals and the Number Four.
• This Power brings Wisdom.
• Specifically Name and Invite all forms of Animals
  that come to mind.
• Ask Participants to name and invite other types
  of Animals, and share the positive qualities that
  come to mind for Animals, the North and the
  number Four.
• Sense the Fourth Chakra and place your key for
  that Festival there.
• Ask for the Animals to give you a special message
  for that night.

Invite the Power of the CENTER-DOWN.

• Sense the Center-Down direction.
• Invite the Power of the Center to be with you,
  the Power of Earth, People, Friends, and the
  Number Five.
• This Power brings Community and Friendship.
• Specifically Name and Invite all living Friends
  that come to mind.
• Ask Participants to name and invite other
  friends, and name some positive qualities of the
  Center-Down, of Mother Earth, People, Friends,
  and the number Five.
• Sense the Fifth Chakra and place your key for
  that Festival there.
• Ask the Earth to give you a special message for
  that night.

Invite the Power of the SOUTH-EAST.

• Sense the South-Easterly direction.
• Invite the Power of the South-East to be with
  you, the Power of the Ancestors, and the Number
  Six.
• This Power brings Guidance and Teachings.
• Specifically Name and Invite all Ancestors that
  come to mind.
• Ask Participants to name and invite other
  Ancestors, both personal and historic, and name
  the positive qualities for them, the South-East
  and the number Six.
• Sense the Sixth Chakra and place your key for
  that Festival there.
• Ask for the Ancestors to give you a special
  message for that night.

Invite the Power of the SOUTH-WEST.

• Sense the South-Westerly direction.
• Invite the Power of the South-West to be with
  you, the Power of the Nature Spirits, Elementals,
  and the Number Seven.
• This Power brings Courage.
• Specifically Name and Invite the four types of
  Elementals the fairies of the Water, the Elves
  of the Fire, the Trolls of the Earth and the
  Dwarves of the Air.
• Ask Participants to name and invite other forms
  of Nature Spirits, and name the positive
  qualities that come to mind for them, the
  South-West and the number Seven.
• Sense the Seventh Chakra and place your key for
  that Festival there.
• Ask for the Nature Spirits to give you a special
  message for that night.

Invite the Power of the NORTH-WEST.

• Sense the North-Westerly direction.
• Invite the Power of the North-West to be with
  you, the Power of Angels, and the Number Eight.
• This Power brings Message and Protection.
• Specifically Name and Invite all forms of Angels
  and Cosmic Messengers that come to mind.
• Ask Participants to name and invite other Angels,
  and to name their positive qualities, and that of
  the North-West and the number Eight.
• Sense the Eighth Chakra and place your key for
  that Festival there.
• Ask for the Angels to give you a special message
  for that night.

Invite the Power of the NORTH-EAST.

• Sense the North-Easterly direction.
• Invite the Power of the North-East to be with
  you, the Power of the Muses, and the Number Nine.
  
• This Power brings Inspiration.
• Specifically Name and Invite all types of Muses
  that come to mind.
• Ask Participants to name and invite other Muses
  and inspiration, and name some of the positive
  qualities of the Muses, the North-East and the
  number Nine.
• Sense the Ninth Chakra and place your key for
  that Festival there.
• Ask for the Muses to give you a special message
  for that night.

Invite the Power of the CENTER-UP.

• Sense the Center-Up direction.
• Invite the Power of the Center-Up to be with you,
  the Power of the Being in the Universe, and the
  Number Ten.
• This Power brings Cosmic Illumination.
• Specifically Name the Friend in the Universe and
  some of his divine qualities.
• Ask Participants to share other names that have
  special meaning for them that the Friend has gone
  by throughout the Ages, and some of the positive
  qualities of the Being in the Universe, the
  Center-Up, and the number Ten.
• Sense the Tenth Chakra and place your key for
  that Festival there.
• Ask the Being in the Universe to give you a
  special message for that night.

• Thank the Powers for coming and providing
  guidance.
• Tie back into the Message for the Festival.
• Invite any closing comments from the Group.
• Invite all Powers invoked to stay for a while, or
  to depart whenever they wish.
• Move on to the Feast, Drumming and Dance.
