Compliance Requirements Users

• User
• acknowledge his/her understanding of the
  confidentiality of information
• acknowledge his/her understanding of criminal
  sanctions for unauthorized use

• Requesting Agency
• update user access within 5 working days of
  termination or reassignment of the user
• Update user access immediately for negligence,
  unauthorized use or dissemination
• Conduct quarterly quality controls on user
  accounts

Compliance Requirements Use

• Requesting Agency
• Regularly monitor access to information (use)
• Conduct annual audit to ensure proper use and
  dissemination
• Submit an annual affirmation of compliance with
  MOU

• CPA or Internal Auditor
• Upon request, submit an attestation that the
  internal controls meet MOU requirements
• Randomly selected once every 3 years
• 180 days to complete audit and provide attestation
