country. It is like walking back into the past
while you are still connected to the present. The
Japanese have been able to keep their heritage
during a time vast technological progression.
Let's see how the new goes hand in hand with the

3Tokyo Sky Tree, the new broadcast station tower
that opened in June
This is the highest free-standing broadcast tower
in the world. Built to the highest architectural
specifications. If you think it looks beautiful
in daylight, wait until the sun goes down. 1995
unit lumens of light are used.
4As you enter the Sky Tower, you will be welcomed
by these 12 amazing towers each one created with
12 different indigenous Japanese craftsmanship
skills and forms.
5This is the Sumida aquarium. Much more than an
aquarium. it is actually a science museum. You
can visit the laboratories to study the ecology
of rare and endangered marine species of Sumida
river, Tokyo bay and Bonin islands.
6Now that you have had a taste of the superb
technological advancement that Japan has
achieved, it is time to walk down the history
lane and visit the next destination.

Zoujyo temple
The Tokugawa family temple from the Edo period is
situated in central Tokyo. Magnificent building
shows the prosperity of Edo Period
8Beyond these gates lie the Imperial graves of six
Tokugawa shoguns, Imperial princess Kazunomiya
(the wife of Iemochi) and other wives.
9Mizuko Jizo
The babies cant be buried in family graves for
various reasons and instead the family has built
a little childs statue.
10This is how the yesterday and the today walk
together to take Japan towards an exciting
tomorrow. You will find instances of it
