Jeff Stauring, Naples Offers Valuable Guidance to
Optimist Girls Soccer Team

Jeff Stauring, Naples coaches the Optimist Girls
Soccer Team along with his daughter Caitlin
Stauring. He has previously coached two teams for
the Optimist Club and one of these teams had his
daughter as a player. Presently, Jeff is coaching
the third Optimist Girls U10 team for the spring
season. The two coaches offer a balanced approach
towards the coaching for the girls as Caitlin
sets the teams in motion and her father observes
the areas where the players need improvement.

They also offer players different situations on
the field so that the players can develop their
imagination and anticipate and position
themselves accordingly. The two coaches make all
efforts possible to ensure that children are
motivated and inspired through out the coaching
sessions. They make the sessions enjoyable by
offering rewards and teaching kids new ways to
play soccer.

Jeff believes that the game of soccer requires a
unique way to think that often needs players to
develop a frame of mind where theyre able to
think out of the box. The useful inputs from his
daughter Caitlin also help the players in looking
at the problems on the field from an experienced
point of view. According to Jeff Stauring,
Naples, the playing soccer is not always about
winning. More than that, its about developing a
mental attitude that a team that works together
can face even difficult odds.

Along with coaching soccer, Jeff Stauring has
extensive business experience. As a born leader,
he has worked with several companies and led
teams of professionals through multimillion
dollar projects. He was also featured in the 1996
Xerox Annual report as Supervisor of a team which
practices empowerment to continually improve
quality, cost, delivery, and service their
efforts improved material flow in the
manufacturing process, reducing assembly costs.
