Overfilled solvent winchesters as solvent warms
up in lab it expands and splits the winchester
losing ALL of the solvent. Both of these
occurred overnight luckily in a solvent
cabinet. In this case the winchesters were as
supplied by the manufacturer!

Spillages

• Large spillages can be a major problem! This was
  a spill of 2.5L of sulfuric acid, white powder is
  soda-ash/celite. NB A team of workers were
  involved in the clear-up procedure, using
  appropriate PPE including BA
