23 is becoming part of our
everyday lives. Learning how to use technology
is important, even for these kindergarteners, if
they are to function in their future world.
Technology
24Being able to use is
necessary for our teachers too. Posting grades
is one way they use computers. Most teachers
also use word processing for numerous tasks. Ten
teachers have passed the Intermediate Level
Technology Assessment

26 is very important at MES. We
believe that the more a child reads, the better
he reads. Many classes have DEAR time - rop

27 is a
great incentive to get students to read. They
read a book and then take a test on the computer
about that book. MES has over 1500 titles that
students can choose from to read and test on.
Second graders seldom need much help.
Accelerated Reader
28Students begin loading at 230 PM.

29Some parents choose to their
child at the end of the day. It is very
important that correct procedures are followed so
that all students are safe and so that pickup can
be done as smoothly as possible.
