Antigua Guatemala

• La Antigua Guatemala (commonly referred to as
  just Antigua or La Antigua) is a city in the
  central highlands of Guatemala famous for its
  well-preserved Spanish Baroque architecture as
  well as a number of spectacular ruined churches.
  It has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage
  Site.

As of the 2006 census, the city had a population
of 1,202,536. The city is located in a mountain
valley in the south central part of the country.

  is the capital and largest city of the nation of
  Guatemala. It is also the largest city in Central
  America.
