- Welcome! The historical society has asked for
help. They need students to complete a few
researching tasks pertaining to ancient Roman art
and architecture. After completion of the
research they have asked for each student to
create a collage representing your favorite art
and architectural works of ancient Rome. I told
the society I would make this a class project,
and reward upon completion, a homework pass in
addition to your earned grade.

and architectural works. - You will create a collage of your favorite art
and architectural works. -

program such as Microsoft Word or Appleworks.
You will need to document information and turn it
into your teacher.
- For your first task the historical society has
asked you to go to here The Ancient City of Rome - Browse this site to become familiar with the
different types of Roman art and architecture. - Choose one art or architectural piece from the
website and copy the picture to your word or
appleworks document. Beneath the picture write a
description of the piece.

10Conclusion
Art and architecture played an important role in
the culture of ancient Rome. Rome was a
cosmopolitan capital where high-living and
material wealth become synonymous with personal
importance and success. After completion if this
WebQuest you will hopefully have a greater
appreciation for ancient Roman art and
Architecture.
