Michael Harrington worked as a police officer
with the New York Police Department for almost
seven years. He served the community by
protecting and securing the life and the property
of the local population and deterred crime. Being
a sincere and responsible police officer, he
fulfilled all his duties to the complete
satisfaction of the authorities. In order to be
eligible for the police job, Michael joined the
famous John Jay College of Criminal Justice in
New York. This is a renowned college and one of
the oldest colleges that offers degrees in
Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, and Forensic
Psychology.

The college was named after a famous personality,
Mr. John Jay who was the first Chief Justice of
the Supreme Court of the United States. Criminal
Justice is the study that deals with the measures
to prevent crime and people who commit crime.
After completing the degree, the professionals
become probation officers, police officers,
judges and lawyers. Michael Harrington considered
a degree in Criminal Justice to join the New York
Police Department. He joined the department in
2002 and worked as a police officer till 2009.

Michael also went to Drake Business School for
completing Executive Business Diploma. He studied
Accounting and word processing. He also completed
a six months short course from the American
Business Institute. Michael started his career as
a stock broker. His first job was with Investors
Associates, Inc., where he worked for a year and
provided sales and services to both new and
existing accounts. Later on, he joined First
Hanover Securities as a stock broker. After
working there for a few months, Michael got an
opportunity to work for Clark Boardman
Callaghan/West Publishing as a sales
representative. The company published and sold
legal publications to attorneys. He took up a
similar job with N.W. Ayer, a firm that provided
businesses an opportunity to market themselves
online. He sold banner ads and web pages as a
sales representative. Continuing with his sales
profile, he joined Schick Technologies, Inc.,
which sold digital X-ray equipment to dentists.

Michael Harrington also experienced working as an
enrollment counselor before joining the New York
Police Department. He worked with Inspirica,
Inc., King TeleServices LLC, and Art Institute of
New York City. These jobs were related to
education and he was responsible for enrollments.
He helped students join relevant courses and
colleges.
