Objectives

• Students will look at several photographs and
  respond to them.
• Students will use what they know about internment
  camps from a variety of sources to write at least
  one haiku and two other poems of their choice.
  They will also write one group poem.
• Students will compose a letter to the editor to
  clearly state an opinion, demonstrate knowledge
  of a topic, and persuade readers.
