The Salvation Army Meeting Needs
  • The Salvation Army is meeting needs through many
    avenues including 79 corps (centers of worship
    and service) and 21 outposts
  • For example, The Salvation Army is working in
    Guamote and Cocha-Loma, Ecuador. Guamote is
    13,500 feet above sea level and Cocha-Loma is
    1,500 feet higher still. Many people in these
    areas still live in grass huts and The Salvation
    Army officer (minister) serving there visits
    those in need on horseback.
