How can I help?
  • Look over homework with your child each night.
  • Spend time with your child going over their work.
  • Make sure your child is at school on time
everyday. Attendance is crucial for success!
  • Encourage your child to work independently,
checking periodically to assist as needed.
  • Expose your child to real life experiences that
relate to math such as making purchases, cooking,
    etc.
  • Read to/with your child every day.

6
  • All EOG mathematics questions are multiple
    choice.
  • To best allow students to demonstrate higher
order learning, the students will complete a
calculator active and calculator inactive section
  • They will be given scrap paper, which is crucial
to use in order to work out multi-step word
problems, etc. They are also able to show their
    work inside the test booklet.
