Champion - Roles responsibilities

• Accountable for the strategic success of the
  project
• Develops the charter with the Green Belt/Black
  Belt Team Leader
• Reviews team progress
• Identifies removes barriers to team progress
• Communicates with the executive team
• Assures that appropriate people are involved
• Advises the Green Belt/Black Belt Team Leader
• Helps keep the team focused
• Helps the team attain resource commitments
• Assures strong link to organizational strategy

Team Leader Member - Roles responsibilities

• Team Leader
• Responsible for the tactical project progress as
  well as being a team member
• Team Members
• Work with Teammates, Team Leader, Green
  Belt/Black Belt and Champion to characterize
  improve processes
• Share accountability with teammates, Team Leader
  Green Belt/Black Belt for effective meetings
• Share the workload with other team members by
  completing assigned tasks
• Work to balance the process improvement work with
  other priorities
• Deeply involved with tactical content issues
• Puts the work of team in context to the goals of
  the larger organization

Green Belt / Black Belt - Roles responsibilities

• Works with Champion Team Leader to develop
  charter
• Responsible subject matter experts focuses on
  the team
• Educates advises team members on improvement
  methods
• Works with team leader to facilitate team
• Acts as a steward of the improvement process
• Helps document communicate team progress
• Convenes meetings coordinates logistics
• Works with Champion Team Leader to assess
  progress next steps
• Negotiates along with team leader for resources
  (with Champion)

Process Owner - Roles responsibilities

• Has the ultimate accountability for the results
  of the entire process (after the improvement) and
  for continuing improvements in the process
• Monitors the performance of the process to see
  how well it is meeting customer stakeholder
  requirements
• Understands
• What is the tangible output of the process
• How the process works
• What the process is capable of doing
• How the system is related to other processes in
  the system
• Sustains improvement by
• Establishing key interface resource linkages
  with the different units that have a role in the
  process
• Ensures that customer-grounded, process
