What is G.C.C.?

• Kappa Psis Grand Council Convention (or GCC)
  is a biennial gathering of brothers from around
  the world to conduct fraternal business, elect
  international officers, and engage in brotherhood
  and fellowship activities

• Legislative changes are proposed and voted on
• National officers and committees report on their
  progress
• Resolutions are passed
• All this affects your chapters functioning

Executive Committee Elections

• Each national office is voted on by delegates -
  majority vote
• Grand Regent, Grand Vice Regent, Grand Counselor,
  Grand Ritualist, Grand Historian, Graduate
  Member-at-Large, Collegiate Member-at-Large

Development Workshops

• Workshops are conducted to share new ideas and
  help chapters with issues they may be
  experiencing
• Workshops at last GCC
• Residencies Interviewing, The Ritual,
  Conflict Resolution, Risk Management, Province
  Leadership

Kappa Psi Foundation Golf Tournament

• Optional golf tournament
• (separate registration fees apply)
• Raises money to benefit the Kappa Psi Foundation,
  which provides scholarships for collegiate
  brothers

• Opening reception/party
• Trips to local attractions
• Texas Hold Em Tournament
• Ice Cream Social / Pharmacy Pheud
• Closing Banquet

Chapter Proxies!

• What is a proxy?
• A proxy allows an absent chapter to still have
  their vote count by having a chapter or province
  in attendance cast their absentee ballot
• Why is this important?
• Your voice is still heard
• Unforeseen circumstances

Goals for GCC

• 100 representation from Collegiate chapters
• 100 correct completion of proxy forms (even if
  your chapter is attending GCC)
• Each chapter presents this information to their
  brothers not in attendance today
