How A Bill Becomes Law

• HOUSE
• Goes to committee in House.gt

  House reps and Senators discuss it.gt

Almost a Law

• If both branches of the legislature pass it, it
  goes to the President or Governor.
• Then the President or governor either signs the
  bill, or vetos the bill.
• If signed it is law, if vetoed it takes a 2/3
  majority of the legislature to override the veto
  and make the bill a law.
