Dinosaurs
Today we played against the Manukau Monsters.
They were a slightly larger team physically but
our team soldiered on and played a great
game. We missed Joshua today who had been at
home unwell.

Whist it was a loss it was a hard loss for the
opposing team to achieve. We fought and hung in
there refusing to accept defeat.

Our goalies today were Jayden and Jason. They
both did extremely well and saved many attempts
from the other team to score. Both were running
out and scooping the ball at the first chance it
enters their space. They were brilliant at
defence of their goal

I Love our Parents and I would like to take the
time to say thank you. The support and
encouragement that our parents give not only
their kids but the entire team is just
outstanding. We are really blessed to have such
a wonderful group of parents and extended family
who always crop up at games encouraging us all
on. And man can we encourage some more vocally
than others

Player of the Day was awarded to Jordan
Stewart Our Fairest Player Certificates went to
Ethan Jury Jason Rau This week we had a parent
pick two kids who they thought had done something
outstanding on the field for the MAGIC MOMENTS.
Jeanette Rau selected Carlos Rojas and Bradley
Wingfield. Carlos for his fantastic run from
one end of the field to the other with the
opposing team hot on his heels. Bradley for his
wonderful interceptions in helping prevent the
other team from scoring. Keep an eye out parents
it may be your turn to choose next week!!!
