    Representative
  • Ask about upcoming public meetings on health
    reform
  • Schedule an in-person meeting with your
    legislator or his/her staff

Then what?
  • Email affiliate members and local APHA members
    about participating in the public meeting or
    in-person meeting
  • Encourage members to call or write their
    legislators
  • Encourage action on APHAs Action Alerts,

  • Submit an op-ed and encourage members to do so as
    well
