• Light is the defining element of photography.
  Light literally brings the photograph to life,
  and the type and quality of light have the
  strongest effect on the resulting image.

Often, photographers are inspired to create a
photograph because the light is so lovely,
casting on the subject a quality uniquely
captured in a photograph.

• Natural From the sun or fire
• Artificial Lamps, Flash, Studio, Florescent.

• How does the type of lighting affect the look of
  the image?
• Where is the source of the light coming
  from?(Left, right, front, back, top, bottom...)
  
• Does the angle of the light affect the image?
• Are there shadows?
• Do the shadows affect the image?
• Is the lighting hard light or soft light?
• How does the softness or hardness affect the
  picture?
