Food in China

• There are many different types of Chinese food. 
• A lot is eaten on and around new years day. On
  New Year's Day, Chinese families will eat
  vegetarian food called jai. Some foods that are
  eaten have meaning to them or are meant to give
  you luck
• Lotus seed - means to have luck in having a baby
  boy
• Black moss seaweed -  stands for lots of wealth
• Dried bean curd - means wealth and happiness
• Bamboo shoots - means that you wish everything
  would be GOOD
• Fresh bean curd or tofu isn't eaten because it is
  white and white is unlucky because it means
  death.
• On of the most renowned Chinese foods are fortune
  cookies

• Many animals live in china. However they are
  under great risk at the moment ,as their habitat
  is being destroyed. The reason that thousands of
  acres of woodland and other open spaced areas are
  being destroyed is because more houses need to be
  bulit for the millions of people they have in the
  country.

Chinas Carnivals

• Chinese carnivals are know about though the
  world! They are not just a pretty sight but also
  have a meaning as they originated from the
  Caribbean. In these carnivals they have many
  traditions such as masks and costumes.

Chinese dragons are very normal at Chinese
carnivals.
Dancers entertain the crowd.
