Replacement Theology

• Replacement theology is a theological review
  which maintains that the Church has replaced
  the nation of Israel (Jews) in the Abrahamic
  Covenant.
• Replacement theology also maintains that the
  Kingdom promised unto Israel has been replaced by

• Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon conquers Israel
  in 606BC and destroys Jerusalem 19 years later in
  587BC
• This era of captivity would last for 70 years
  (605-535) and marked the first uprooting, or
  scattering of Israel.
• The 1st scattering of Israel was not worldwide,
  but rather localized (Babylon)

• Ezra 7 and Nehemiah 2 record the decree of
  Artaxerxes referred to in Daniel 925 that
  established the timeline for the first coming of
  the Messiah. (445BC)

  reconstituted back in the Promised Land, marking
