Imagine that your most important wish could
come true just by folding paper. Sadako Sasaki
had faith in the Japanese legend that if she
created one thousand paper cranes, then she would
be cured. In this quest, you will read about
Sadako, the attack on her city, and the race
against time to complete her project. You
will also explore what scientists and ordinary
citizens are doing to save one endangered species.
