Why the Focus on Middle Years?
  • Students in the Middle Years are facing many
    changes
  • Physical maturing, changes in body
  • Emotional hormones, insecurity
  • Social friendships, pecking order
  • Learning moving from concrete to abstract
  • Others

How do we help kids improve engagement in
learning ?
  • Build up students self-esteem!
  • Use hands-on activities as much as possible
  • it helps them understand!
  • Tailor it to their needs!
  • Focus on pedagogy make it rewarding!
