blueberries, saskatoon berries, and pinon nut.
Wild rice was good with duck or in venison stews
    for them.

Blackfeet Religious Beliefs
  • The Blackfoot were great believers because
they believed in all kinds of things. The one
thing they believed in was the creator because
they thought that the creator created everything,
including the universe and Earth. Another thing
the Blackfoot believed was that when they said
something bad about the bison or the buffalo, the
animals would go far away from the Blackfoot.

16
Blackfeet Climate
The climate for the Blackfoot changed gradually,
like our weather. There were temperature of 90
degrees and as low as 10 degrees. The weather
affected the Blackfoot because in order to keep
warm they had to make warm clothes and then when
it was warm they had to make more clothes for
when it was hot outside or even medium
temperature. The weather also affected them
because when the buffalo were near extinction
they could barley make enough clothes to keep
them warm through the long winter.

all of these tribes have differences and
similarities. For example the Iroquois and Makah
had the same kinds of foods. The Hopi and

    same kinds of weapons.
