The Challenge

• Information is exploding at an unprecedented rate
• 81 of 19-29 year olds go online daily
• Non-traditional students are about to outnumber
  traditional college students
• Students enter high ed expecting access to
  networks and digital resources
• Plagiarism seems at an all-time high with easy
  cut/paste access to information
• Quality universities are offering degrees and
  certificates to students in Youngstown.

The Opportunity

• Fortunately, along with the challenge comes the
  opportunity to reach students around the clock /
  around the world
• 136 million U.S. homes are connected
• More than 2.5 million U.S. students were taking
  at least one online class last fall
• We have the resources and ability to reach
  students who never could attend a university
  before
• We can collaborate, engage, elaborate, and
  elucidate anytime / anywhere!
