• Approved the continuity of fire barrier walls to
  the underside of a horizontal roof, slab or deck.
• Modified the smoke leakage rating to cumulative
  50 cfm per 100 square feet
• Successful in eliminating the E119 language on
  perimeter fire barrier systems
• Requires fire blocking between unrated horizontal
  assemblies and curtain walls
• Established an L-Rating for Perimeter Fire
  Barrier Joint Systems

• Coordinated and presented dozens of Inspector
  Seminars to local Building and Fire Officials
  free of charge
• Targeting every registered Fire Department or
  District and their Building Departments for these
  Seminars
• Securing ICC CEUs for attendees of the IFC
  Seminars
• Partnering with the ICC to create an Educational
  Tool on Chapter 7 of the IBC
• Encouraging Associate Members to host the IFC
  Inspector Seminars in their local jurisdictions.
