- Short presentation of how specialist education is
organised in Finland and Denmark

9Training includes 1
- supervised service in health care centres and in
clinical disciplines (common trunk 2 years, 4
years specialising GP training) - assessment and feedback of learning by a tutor,
and of learning environment by a trainee - trainees are free to have any post in health
care, which provides skills and competence to
them (but the university has to accept the
working place and training system) - there are quite few specific training posts
10About the in-service-training
- common trunk
- two (2) years jointly with disciplines public
health, occupational health, geriatrics,
including PHC- and hospital training - Minimum of nine months supervised in PHC,
participating in all the duties of PHC - Minimum six (6) months in hospitals
- specialising training
- 2 years training in PHC
- 2 years training in clinical disciplines (service
of 4 different specialities)
11Training includes 2
- 16 h education about social security and
discipline-specific theoretical education 120 h - meetings, seminars, education at the working
place 100 h/year - Final written national examination.
