Ms.Madhulika Jha
19
About Ms.Madhulika Jha
  • Madhulika Jha is one of the most famous artists
in India, specializing in Sculpting, Painting and
Sketching. Her sculptures depict woman and
children in various moods. The playfulness and
action is captured in time and space. Its
beautiful, soulful and poetic in expression.
  • In the artists own words My sculptures capture
the human spirit in different moods in Bronze and
Fiber glass, reflecting mankind in its myriad
forms. Since my work is totally apolitical, it
has very little social message as such for
society, except that whatever your interests are,
focus on them and give them your best efforts,
your passion and your hard work and see them turn
into such age defying and lasting joy. Art to me
equals meditation, it takes me away from the
mundane, and lifts me to a higher plane where all
artists are my friends be they young or old.

myriad emotions and relations with varied
finishes. For me the sensuous rhythm and pulse of
the human face and figure are the very same that
throb in the nature and make the world go round.

Ms.Kusum Jain
32
About Ms.Kusum Jain
  • About Ms.Kusum Jain Art is for the sake of art .
It is  the space for beauty, truth and goodness.
Sculpture to her   is a form of self-expression.
Her work is semi realistic which portray  human
emotions and feelings like unconditional love,
happiness, which basically emanates from her
     imagination.
  • Her  sculptures are inspired by people around
her . Each of  her  work is personal and allows
you to decide its meaning. She  depicts  many
    emotions through different gestures from
happiness to pain. An intimate line of figurative
sculptures that speaks in quiet way to endear ,
to love   to protect and inspire  .Sculpture is
her  medium to transfer a message. For the viewer
something different and fascinating is presented
from every angle and every change of light.
Especially due to the interesting  shapes in
her  abstract sculptures.  Most of the time she
makes   sculpture about woman.  Her  work depicts
her  interest in the centrality of woman. The
recent spate of reports of violence against women
which shows their  aggressive nature , gentle
submissive quality and her emotional aspect is
     shown through  her work .

About Ms.Kusum Jain
  • Delhi based renowned  sculpture artist  Kusum
Jain qualified with Bachelor Of Arts from Miranda
House, Delhi University. Kusum Jains sculptures
have evolved into fresh new dimensions with her
mixed media abstractions. Both bronze and fiber
bring a multitude of expressions to her
    creations.
  • For the viewer, something different and
fascinating is presented from every angle and
every change of light, especially so due to the
sculptors intriguing use of sinuous shapes in
her abstract sculptures. The pieces reflects the
artists fascination with subtractive methods of
sculpting and is an apt example of her highly
abstracted approach to the human figure. As in
most of her work, there is a primitive emotive
    quality to the figure.
  • The purpose of her work is to provoke a
    perceptual, internal, and intellectual response
in the viewer.  Each piece gives delight to the
eye and touch, and seems imbued with a life of
its own. Delicately poised on a minute footprint,
there is a sense of tensiontheres
    mysterytheres surprise.

Ms.Kumud Grover
45
About Ms.Kumud Grover
  • Kumud Grovers sculptures are the classic example
of creativity and dedication, a home maker turned
into a recognized sculptor. There is a raw
    creativity and spontaneity with technical
finesse. Her Fish and Bird series are lyrical in
execution. The Human Figures that she creates are
extremely expressive and graceful. Kumud eschews
abstraction in totality and , hence, her works
    are representational  with an interesting
    abstract synthesis.

Ms.Geeta Juneja
55
About Ms.Geeta Juneja
  • Geeta Juneja is a graduate in B.A. Honours
(English) and had also done a PG diploma in
interior design. She started her career as a
designer in her husbands handicraft and brass
hardware export house. Always being interested in
art, architecture, culture and nature she was
pursuing her hobbies of painting, sketching
photography from a very young age. She joined
Triveni Kala Sangam to pursue her hobby of
painting but, after one visit to the sculpture
studio, she knew she belonged there.
  • Geeta found her passion in this form of art! Her
initial pieces were made in clay, after she moved
on to cast bronze and now she specializes in cast
    fiberglass.
  • Her style is abstract human figures and heads
that express various human emotions as she has
merged her fascination for human form and
emotions in her work.Geeta Junejas abstracts are
sensuous and suggestive, her works are inspired by
    her own thoughts and moods.

56
About Ms.Geeta Juneja
  • She is an artist who traverses the regime of
    abstraction. The intrinsic individuality shapes
and compositions is what defines her work.
Somewhere it gives the viewer an impression of
assemblage as seen in The Aristocrat, The Soul
mates and others, which then is rendered in a
very subdued surface. Her works are essentially
bold. The viewer gazes into the multitude of
distorted features in sync with each other and
    defined, leading to subjective interpretationthe
emphasis is not only on expression but also on
the spaces and forms which creates an aura of its
own. Like all artists, her sculptures have a
piece of her since she tends to portray her
    feelings through her work.
  • Geeta Junejas work is displayed more privately
and in group shows at Sahitya Kala Academy and
Triveni Kala Sangam. Her sculptures grace the
homes and offices of art lovers in India and
    Abroad.
