What to do for this example

• Form groups of 3 or 4 people
• Pick up a sampling space also known as a cup
  with candy.
• Dont eat the sample space. . .yet.

Parent Distribution

• Create a frequency distribution of the data.
• Create a histogram using the following data
  transformations
• Chocolate 6
• Lemon 5
• Lime 4
• Vanilla 3
• Cherry 2
• Orange 1

• Using random sampling techniques, draw out two
  candy bars and find the mean score.
• (e.g., chocolate pink
• 6 2 8/2
• 4
• Put those two pieces back into the sample space.
• Continue to draw samples until you have a total
  of 20 means.
• Create a frequency distribution of these means.
• Create a histogram on the computer.
• What is the shape of this distribution?
