What Does It Mean for Pathology?

• In years 1-2 we teach from day 1
• Histology is not an admissions pre-requisite
• General Pathology reduced from 58 hrs to 13 hrs
  (Introduction to Medicine)

• In year 2 we teach with Pharmacology, Medicine,
  Surgery, Pediatrics, ObsGyn and Psychiatry

• General Pathology 13 hrs
• Systemic Pathology 46 hrs
• Year 2 Total 84 hrs. All systemic Path
• Year 3 up to 6 week electives in labs
• Year 4 Total 43 hrs in Transition ( electives)
• Pathology for primary care 24 hrs
• Forensic Medicine 19 hrs
