Minimum software requirements
  • PHP 5
  • Apache - not tested on 2.x but should work
  • SQL - UQ uses MySQL 4.1
  • Linux - it should work on Win32 but it seems to
    depend on getting the right combination of
    php/apache windows binary releases.

Hardware
  • We are using A Dell Poweredge 2650 with 1Gig of
    RAM.
  • Disk space usage
  • 17Mb for the PHP files
  • The size of the DB is 5.6Mb

Entering Statistics into Libstats

Stats categories click on to select

Some figures are imported directly from Innopac,
(auto update) some are entered by Branch staff
box to place figure in

Instructions on how to collect figures can be
included. (These are high use and non-high use
material figures, taken from Innopac)

Once the cut-off date for entering stats each
month has been reached, they can be closed off.
The months then no longer show as links

Stats can be added daily or weekly, and cumulate
towards the monthly total.
Name of person entering stats, and date, display
Stats can be amended (pencil icon) or deleted ( x
icon), by the person who entered them, or by a
(system defined) manager for the Branch

Manage Users - 1
Staff members to be given rights to enter or edit
stats are entered here. (Can be imported from
staff database)
Staff can be designated as Standard users (enter
and edit), Managers (can manage permissions for
staff, and amend others entries), and
Administrators (full rights)
Branch(es) for which a staff member may enter
stats are designated here

Staff members are authorised to View, Edit, or
Administer stats. Rights can be restricted to
particular groups of Stats, and in particular
branches

This is where the stats groups are set up. All
aspects are configurable

Stats groups display, showing code, name of
group, notes, branches in which group applies,
and columns in the group. Pencil icon allows for
amending any aspect of the set up. The Edit
Columns link allows columns to be added or
deleted.

The update icon for 1d Loans by patron type has
been clicked. This page allows additional columns
to be added, columns to be deleted.

Stats can be closed off, so that no further
changes can be made. Only the System
Administrator can action this function.
