Gold Standard Test

• A gold standard test is a best available diagnosti
  c test for determining whether a patient does or
  does not have a disease or condition. For
  example, a biopsy can identify breast cancer
  cells with good
  accuracy, while an autopsy are usually
  accurate at identifying the cause of death.

• Complete Blood Count tells us the amount of
  blood and

• RED BLOOD CELLS (RBC)
• The test is used to evaluate your general state
  of health. It helps detect blood diseases and
  disorders. Unusually high or low counts may
  indicate the presence of diseases like anemia,
  infections, clotting problems, blood cancers, and
  immune system disorders.
• WHITE BLOOD CELLS (WBC)
• WBCs, also called leukocytes, are an important
  part of the immune system. These cells help fight
  infections by attacking bacteria, viruses, and
  germs that invade the body.
• White blood cells originate in the bone marrow
  but circulate throughout the bloodstream
• Platelets which help with blood clotting
