Fraud Online Shopping Website
03.
Be careful while opening any shopping website
that means always check the URL and the site name
first. The URL should be HTTPS instead of HTTP or
there should be a secure sign before URL. During
the festive sale, various fake websites of
e-commerce platforms appear in different URLs to
steal the login details of the customers. For
example Filpkart instead of Flipkart or Hokosko
instead of Hokosoko or something similar.

Dont Use Public Computers for Net Banking
04.
Never conduct transactions through online banking
on public computers like cyber café. Even if you
are sitting alone and logging out securely, the
scammer can hack your account anyhow and discover
ways to record your activities.

Lucky Draw Calls
This is the latest trick which fraudsters do to
rob peoples money. The customer will receive a
call from a so-called customer care executive to
get feedback on a certain product he or she has
purchased online. After that, the executive says
that you have won Rs.10000 or a gift as a part
of a lucky draw. The fraud is that the so-called
executive will ask you to send a registration
fee to process the reward. So, never get
attracted to such rewards.
