  • Application date May 15th 2009
  • Application form with Curriculum Vitae (CV), two
    references and the application fee, 450.
  • Assessment Process June 8th -12th 2009
  • Results 31st July 2009
  • Appeals deadline August 21st
  • Appeal results in September

  • AC4 Understanding of Interpreter Code of Ethics

process
  • Section A for hearing candidates
  • Section A for Deaf candidates
  • Section B for hearing candidates
  • Section B for Deaf candidates
  • Section C for hearing candidates
  • Section C for Deaf candidates
  • Section D for all candidates
  • Section E for all candidates

Marking / scoring

Levels
  • R1 60 or over and must achieve at least 60 in
    all 5 sections.
  • R2 40 - 59 and must achieve at least 40 in all
    5 sections.
  • TI 35 39 and must achieve at least 35 in core
    sections B, C, and D
  • Unsuccessful Under 35

Appeals
  • Results falling within 3 of requirements may be
    appealed by any candidate.
  • Closing date for appeals will be
  • Two external appeals assessors, to be appointed
    prior to the accreditation week, will consider
    the marking system and marks apportioned.
  • The fee to appeal will be to decided.
