• Professor Shashi Shekhar (joined in 1989)
• Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley in
  Computer Science
• M.S. Univ. of California, Berkeley in in Business
  Administration,
• Research Interests
• Data and knowledge engineering, spatial database
  management, spatial data mining, and geographic
  information systems.

  spatial database storage methods, data mining,
  and geographic information systems, 2003.
