Title: 7 Tips To Make Your Candle Burn Longer

1
7 Tips To Make Your Candle Burn Longer
2
Freeze Your Candles
Put your candle in the freezer for a couple of
hours before lighting it up if you have that
wonderful quality called forethought. As a result
of the cold temperature, the wax will be harder,
so it will burn much more slowly.
3
Keep Trimming Your Wick
The big wick energy is not welcome here, since a
big wick means a big flame, and a big flame means
your precious candle will burn up much faster.
When you light your candle next, give the wick a
snip so that the flame is kept to a minimum.
4
Commit To The Burn
Buying candles for sale online and then burning
these only a few minutes at a time is not a good
idea. In the end, you melt the wax in the middle
near the wick while the outer edges don't burn
down because they don't have time to get all hot
and melty. What a waste! You should always burn
your candle until the entire top layer of wax is
melted.
5
Aluminum Foil Can Fix Most Burning Mishaps
Even if you've already committed one of the
aforementioned sins (HOW DARE U!) and are dealing
with uneven wax piled up on the outer edges of
the jar, it's not too late. Fold a big sheet of
tin foil over on itself lengthwise three or four
times to wrap around the outside of your candle
jar.
6
Straighten Out That Wick. Every. Single. Time
You need to make sure that your wick is straight
up and down after each and every session if you
want your burn to stay even-stevens. Once it has
cooled down, just give it a quick little
adjustment with your fingers if it seems to lean
to one side.
7
Sprinkle A Lil Salt In The Wax
Here's where we get really hack-y. Add a pinch of
salt to the melted wax after you've blown it out,
and then stir it with a toothpick, chopstick, or
whatever you have handy. This will slow down the
burn time when you light it next. Instead, buy
candles for sale online from a dollar store.
8
Cap Your Burn Time At Four Hours
It's for safety's sake. Some unlucky customers
have reported candles that exploded after being
left to burn for too long. You not only risk
losing your candle, but also your entire house
and all your worldly possessions if you ignore
this recommendation. It's better to be safe than
sorry!
