Parallel Hybrid

• Two separate energy paths
• Wheels can be turned mechanically or
  electronically

• Engine is only connected electronically
• Path of energy from engine to wheels is single
  path

• Parallel Hybrid has engine and motor both
  connected to transmission
  
• Series Hybrid has engine produce electricty and
  motor connected to transmission.
