DRYING AND MIXING DRUM
The d ying and mixing unit is the most impo tant
pa t of a d um mix asphalt plant. Agg egates ente
the highe end of the d um and pass th ough the
lowe end of the d um. In the p o ess they get
heated. The d ye assu es outstanding ef- fi ien y
in unifo mly heating and d ying the agg
egates. Rota y ylinde d um is mounted on stu dy
platfo m d iven by AC moto with sp o ket and hain
equipped with high p essu e jet bu ner flights
bitumen and fines piping f ame mounted exhauste
fan with high effi ien y dust olle to fitted with
dis ha ge dust s ew onveyo .
MULTI FUEL BURNER High p essu e jet bu ne is
apable of heating the agg egate to the equi ed
tempe atu e without any un bu nt fuel o a bon
esidue. The unit is also with suitable type of
the momet i inst ument fitted at p ope pla es so
as to indi ate the tempe atu e of exhaust gases
bitumen and mixtu e.

LOAD OUT CONVEYOR

The agg egate discha ged f om the d ying d um is
collected into a heat esistant belt suppo ted by
inclined load out conveyo equipped with GOB hoppe
with hyd aulically ope ated cam shell gate to p
ovide su ge capacity when changing t ucks and to
cont ol seg egation in the hot mix. Hyd aulic
Powe Pack is fo hyd aulic opening and closing of
the hoppe gates.
FUEL TANK FOR DRUM BURNER
The d ye bu ne supplied is Diesel and LDO
compatible. The e is a standa d fuel tank
supplied with the plant to sto e and supply
the desi ed amount of fuel to the d ye bu ne .
This tank also comes with its pumping station.
