Rules
  • Come to school on time, prepared for learning.
    (825 am!)
  • Respect one another and all adults in the
    building.
  • Homework should be completed every night,
    including Fridays.
  • Keep your hands to yourself.
  • Use positive comments and encouraging words.
  • Eating, drinking, or snacking permitted only with
    teacher permission.
  • Bring a written excuse from home when you are
    absent from school.
  • Be on your best behavior when you are with the
    specialists (Art, Gym, Computer)

Third Grade Student Expectations
  • All homework to be completed and ready to be

  • Wear all clothing appropriately on your body. (If
    pants are too big wear a belt.)
  • Class work must be completed on time and done
    neatly.
  • Use appropriate language at all times.
  • Walk in the building.
  • Bring your school supplies everyday (pencils,
    sharpener, erasers, etc.).

Third Grade Parents Expectations
  • Bring your child to school on time.
  • Please check your childs homework every night to
    be sure its completed neatly and correctly.
  • Go through your childs book bag for letters or
    announcements from
  • Ms. Abreu.
  • Help child place homework back in folder and
    bookbag.
  • Feel free to communicate with me anytime you have
    a question or concern.
  • Please sign and return any letters sent home from
    me.
  • Provide a quiet place for your child to do
    homework
  • Make sure students have appropriate supplies at
    home to complete homework. (Multiplication and
    division flashcards, pencils, dictionary,
    crayons, etc.)
  • Please adhere to project due dates and
    guidelines.
  • Students are allowed to bring a small snack and
    water to school.

  • Pencil Sharpener
  • Crayons
  • Erasers
  • 1 Box of Tissues

Homework
  • Given every night. (Including Fridays)
  • Must be completed neatly and turned in on time!
  • A zero will be given for homework that is not
    completed or that you forgot.
  • You must complete your own homework, with your
    parents assistance.
  • Please try to keep your homework clean. (No
    juice, wrinkles, or snacks on your homework.)
  • Try your best on homework first, if you do not
    understand something, then ask for help.
