• Web approach (i.e., URL/HTTP)
• Difficult for clients to know the address of
  services that meets their needs

• Service model for pervasive computing
• A request is made when a device cant answer it
• The device doesnt need to know the addresses of
  services, doesnt care who provides them, dont
  expect perfect/exact answers.
