• Im Nell the Lead Teacher at Wells. Im at the
  Centre most days and Im looking forward to
  meeting you.

This is Tom, another Teacher at Wells. He likes
to tell bad jokes!

This is Pauline. She keeps the Centre looking
very clean and tidy. Another lady called
Teressa helps Pauline.

This is Liz who deals with all the money at the
Centre. She also runs the shop that you may
visit. She likes children who remember to say
thank you!

This is Joy. She keeps everything at Wells
Field Studies Centre running smoothly. She can
hear what goes on in the bedroom Oystercatcher
as it is next door to her desk!

This is Andrew. Hes the big boss and is at the
Centre about once a week. Be sure to give him a
big smile if you see him!

This is the Field Centre building. It used to
be a school.

In your bedroom you will have a bed, wardrobe and
bedside cabinet.

We eat all of our meals together in our Dining
Room.

This is the minibus we use to travel to some
local fieldwork sites

Here at Wells we work in groups with an adult.
We stick together to help each other and keep
ourselves safe.

We do our activities in all sorts of locations.

We sometimes ask you to help with some jobs
around the Centre. One job might be cooking.

Another job is to help in our small garden.

Lots of our activities involve getting muddy!
Please bring old clothes.

Please remember to bring a waterproof coat and
wellington boots.

Please also bring several warm layers of clothes.
Wells Beach can be chilly in any month of the
year!
