CHALLENGES OF WORKING WITH FORMER TRAFFICKING
VICTIMS
  • Re-establishing contacts with the family
  • Finding foster families for minors
  • Their social network is very weak and the work
for recovering lost contacts and establishing new
    ones is difficult.
  • Long-term reintegrating accommodation with the
necessary support services is still limited for
the increasing number of young and parent
    victims.
  • Finding jobs for former victims remains difficult
due to various reasons. Therefore, there is still
frequent circulation in the labor market, and
continuous monitoring is necessary as well as
provision of counselling for beneficiaries in
order to establish effective links with
    vocational training institutions and small
    skill-learning enterprises.

7
  • Many beneficiaries ask for more health services
than the rest of the population, related
particularly to SST, or being a migrant
population they are vulnerable to HIV/AIDS.
  • Beneficiaries lack social skills and literacy, an
issue which needs to be addressed in order to
achieve their long-term reintegration into the
    society.
  • Monitoring and follow-up of the cases when they
leave the program and resume their independent
    life
