Title: What is a Training Camp

1
What is a Training Camp?
  • Training Camps are set up by National Olympic
Committees and National Paralympic Committees as
a base for athlete training and preparation for
use in the weeks, months, and sometimes years,
prior to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
  • These differ from Training Venues that are
provided by LOCOG in close proximity to the
Olympic Village for use by athletes during the
    Olympic Games and Paralympic Games
