  spot in the yard, a chair on the deck, a log at
  the beachshow it. Let your reader not only see
  it, but get it why it is a favorite space.

  arms that curl into delicate patterns
• A bulletin board tacked with notes, photos,
  clippings, cards
• A porcelain cup and saucer steam rising
• A brown dog contently curled on a faded Persian
