Title: What did we find out about
1The (extra)ordinary lives research project
What was the research about? 4 researchers
worked with 8 young people (aged 10-20) to find
out about their everyday lives. The research was
about the lives of young people in care. None
of the young people lived with their parents.
They lived with their grandparents, foster
families, on their own, or with friends.
We helped them make their own projects
about their lives at the me, myself and I group.
They made photographs, videos, animations, music
and arts crafts. You can see some of these in
a film that we made.
Who are we?
What did we find out about? s
We thought this was a good way to find out
about the lives of young people in care because
they had lots of choice about what to do and what
to share with us about their lives.
