School Improvement Plan Purpose

• Building based School Improvement Plans are
  built from the District Strategic Plan
• They narrow the teaching and learning focus to
  specifically address the needs of the students at
  each building.
• The focus areas include
• Academics Reading, Writing and Mathematics
• Support Systems
• Family Involvement and Communication

School Improvement Plan Components

• Performance Objectives
• BB/MS Students will increase performance in
  Language Arts and Math by moving 10 of students
  from level 2 to level 3 as measured by the CMT in
  2 years.
• HS Students will increase performance in
  Reading, Writing and Math by moving 5 of the
  students from level 2 to level 3, while
  simultaneously moving 10 of the students from
  level 3 to level 4 as measured by the CAPT in 2
  years.
• HS Students will increase in Science by moving
  10 of level 3 to level 4 as measured by CAPT in
  2 years.
