Charitable status
Young Enterprise is a registered charity.
As a consequence Young Enterprise companies cannot trade on the fact that they plan to donate money to another charity.
At the AGM when the final accounts are presented to the shareholders a vote can be taken if the company wishes to donate some of the profits to a charity. Any giving should be after YE VAT and Corporation Tax have been taken into account.
