Introduction

• There are two ways to express the future using
  the present tense
• IR a infinitive
• Voy a comer
• Im going to eat
• Present tense context expression
• Yo necesito un coche mañana
• I need a car tomorrow

IR a Infinitive

• As you remember, one way to express future action
  is to use the present tense of IR (to go) a
  Verb in infinitive form.
• Examples
• Ellos van a correr
• They are going to run
• Laura va a estudiar
• Laura is going to study

• The other way to express a future action is to
  use the present tense a context which indicates
  that you are referring to the future.
• The following expressions may denote a future
  action
• Después afterwards, later
• Más tarde later
• Esta noche tonight
• Mañana tomorrow
• Pasado mañana the day after tomorrow
• La próxima semana next week
• El próximo mes/año next month/year
